In a large bowl, combine beef, 1/4 cup bread crumbs, barbecue sauce, egg, salt and pepper. Mix well. On a long piece of aluminum foil, pat beef mixture into a 13-inch by 8-inch rectangle. Combine remaining bread crumbs and other ingredients; pat over beef mixture. Roll up beef mixture jelly-roll style, starting on one long side; discard foil. Place in an ungreased 13"x9" glass baking pan. Cover and chill overnight. Uncover; bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Slice to serve.
