AIda Menoni is no newcomer to the art of novel recipes. When she was a girl helping out her father in his ice cream business, she says, "Several batches of fresh ice cream were ready for an added touch of color. My brother and I, in our youthful enthusiasm, inadvertently switched colorings. Plop-the green coloring went into a container of fresh strawberry ice cream, while the pink went into the pistachio! What to do?" AIda's father made tricolor bricks with the strawberry, pistachio and vanilla ice cream. "No one ever mentioned the nutty taste of the pink ice cream or the fruity flavor of the green, and all the bricks sold!" As they say, when life gives you lemons, make lemonade!
