"Gina DeRoma didn't have nutrition at the front of her mind when she created her recipe for Crescent Samosas. "This is a low-fat recipe, but it doesn't taste like I skimped on the ingredients," she says. "I think that is the secret. It was only after I invented the dish that I realized I had added only a little oil." Gina got the idea to pair peas and potatoes from a pastry she tried at an Indian restaurant. "I took the dish to a couple of parties, and it got rave reviews," she says.
