1. GRILL DIRECTIONS: In medium saucepan, combine all sauce ingredients bring to a boil over medium heat. Boil 10 to 12 minutes or until slightly thickened, stirring occasionally.
2. Meanwhile, place ribs in large saucepan add water, 1 cup vinegar and red pepper flakes. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat cover and simmer 30 minutes. Drain.*
3. Heat grill. When ready to grill, brush ribs with sauce. Place on gas grill over medium heat or on charcoal grill 4 to 6 inches from medium coals. Cook 10 to 20 minutes or until ribs are browned and tender, turning and brushing with sauce once. Heat remaining sauce to a boil and serve with ribs.
TIP:*At this point, ribs and sauce can be refrigerated for up to 24 hours.
To broil ribs, place on broiler pan broil 4 to 6 inches from heat using times above as a guide, turning and brushing with sauce once.
