Simple Baked Mostaccioli

Ingredients

1 (16-ounce) package mostaccioli pasta, uncooked
1 pound ground beef
salt and pepper to taste
1 (16-ounce) jar pasta sauce, divided
1 (16-ounce) package shredded mozzarella cheese, divided

Directions:

Cook pasta according to package directions; drain. Meanwhile, brown beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain; season with salt and pepper. Ladle a spoonful of pasta sauce into a greased 11"x8" glass baking pan; add half of cooked pasta. Layer with all of beef mixture, half of remaining sauce and half of cheese; repeat layers with remaining pasta, sauce and cheese. Bake, uncovered, at 375 degrees for about 20 minutes, until hot and bubbly.
