In a skillet over medium heat, sauté green pepper and onion in butter until tender. Unroll unbaked pizza crust on a lightly greased baking sheet. Layer crust with slices of meat and cheese; top with green pepper mixture and season with pepper. Roll crust loosely into a tube, jelly-roll style; pinch top and sides closed. Bake, seam-side down, at 375 degrees for about 25 minutes, until golden. Slice to serve.
Tip: Tuck a tiny Italian flag toothpick in your sandwiches! Not only fun, they’re great for holding together overstuffed sandwiches.
