1 Place the mushrooms in a colander and rinse them quickly under cold running water. Drain the mushrooms and pat them dry. Cut the mushrooms into halves or quarters if large. Trim off the ends if they look dry.
2 In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the mushrooms. Cook, stirring often, until the mushrooms are browned, 8 to 10 minutes. Add the parsley, garlic, salt, and pepper. Cook until the garlic is golden, about 2 minutes more. Serve hot.
