Smoked Sausage with Sauerkraut


Serves: 4

Ingredients

1 (16-ounce) jar sauerkraut
1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 apple peeled, cored and chopped
1 smoked sausage cut into 2" lengths (1 - 2 pounds size)
salt and pepper

Directions:

Put all ingredients into stock pot or Dutch oven.

Cover and simmer on low for 20 to 25 minutes, stirring often. Add water if needed.
