Mix egg with spices and bread crumbs. Let sit for 5 minutes.
Add onion and hamburger and mix with hands until well blended.
Form the meatballs and brown in stock pot or Dutch oven over medium heat turning often to brown all sides.
Drain fat, turn heat to low and add sauce ingredients. Simmer covered for 20 to 30 minutes or until mushrooms and meatballs are cooked.
Serve over noodles.
