1. Prepare the tortilla chips, if using homemade. Then, drain the beans, but do not rinse. Set aside. Heat the oil in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add the onion, garlic, oregano, and cumin. Cook, stirring, until the onion is softened, 3 to 4 minutes. Add the beans, and cook, mashing and stirring them until thick.
2. Spread a bit of the beans on the tortilla chips. Add a dollop of sour cream and salsa. Serve while the beans are warm.
