Prepare the tortilla chips, if using homemade. Then, in a medium nonstick skillet, cook the chorizo over medium heat until brown, 4 to 5 minutes. Add the onion and cook until the onion softens, about 3 minutes. To assemble, layer the chips equally with beans, chorizo, and guacamole. Put a dollop of salsa on top. Serve warm.
