1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
2. Brown sausage in skillet (save grease for mushrooms). Spread sausage in buttered 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
3. Sauté mushrooms in sausage grease. Spread mushrooms over sausage, spread cheese over mushrooms.
4. Beat eggs a little and pour over top of cheese. Season to taste.
5. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until solid. Cut into 8-10 servings.
Feel free to substitute cheese, or use bacon instead of sausage.
