1. About 45 minutes before serving: Preheat oven to 350°.
2. Coat bottom and sides of a 10-inch deep-dish pie plate with butter. Add crab meat. Sprinkle with lemon juice and chives toss, then set aside.
3. Place eggs in a blender container. Cover and blend until a light yellow color. Add flour, 1 tablespoon at a time, and blend until smooth after each addition. Add chicken broth, salt and pepper. Cover and blend until smooth. Pour over crab.
4. Bake for 35 minutes or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean.
