1. In a large frying pan over medium-high heat, cook the beef until it is no longer pink, breaking it up with a wooden spoon. Spoon off the melted fat with a metal spoon.
2. Add the onion cook and stir for 2 to 3 minutes or until onion starts to soften.
3. Turn oven on to 350°.
4. Add hot dogs, tomato sauce and catsup or chili sauce to the frying pan. Cook over low heat for 15 minutes or until thick, stirring with a wooden spoon every few minutes.
Serve hot.
