2/3 cup mashed bananas
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
3 eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3/4 cup water
1 cup chopped walnuts
In mixing bowl, beat bananas and butter until creamy. Add eggs and beat well. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon; add to banana mixture alternately with water, beating well after each addition. Stir in nuts. Spoon into a greased 9-in. square baking pan. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool.
