Pound flour into meat set aside remaining flour. In large skillet, melt shortening. Add meat and brown on each side. Place in shallow baking dish. Blend remaining flour with drippings in skillet. Add remaining ingredients, except for cheese and cook, stirring constantly until mixture boils. Pour over meat. Cover and bake for 21/2hours at 300°F. Sprinkle cheese over meat and return to oven for a few minutes until melted.
