Heat oven to 400° F. In a large bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, caraway seed, thyme and salt. In a small bowl, blend together milk, oil and egg add to flour mixture, stirring just until moistened. Fill 12 well-greased or paper-lined muffin cups 3/4 full. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until done. Serve immediately.
Note: Serve with roast beef or pork tenderloin, Also goes well with a fruit luncheon plate.
