Heat oven to 375° F. In a medium bowl, stir together flour, cereal, baking soda, baking powder and salt set aside. In a large mixer bowl, cream together butter or margarine and sugar. Beat in egg and vanilla. Stir in flour mixture and buttermilk alternately, starting and ending with flour stir just to combine. Fold in raisins. Fill 12 well-greased or paper-lined muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve immediately.
