Heat oven to 425° F. Sift together flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Add cornmeal. In a separate bowl, beat eggs and milk. Place butter or margarine in an 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan. Place in oven until butter or margarine melts. Add egg mixture to dry ingredients stir just until moistened. Add butter or margarine stir and pour into the warm pan. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until done.
