In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt. Beat egg whites until stiff set aside. Beat egg yolks add milk and melted butter or margarine. Add all at once to flour mixture and stir until dry ingredients are moistened. Fold in egg whites until barely blended. Pour 2 to 3 tablespoons batter on a lightly-greased hot griddle and bake until bubbles appear turn and lightly-brown on second side.
