1. In a medium saucepan, combine all ingredients except whipped cream and additional cinnamon. Heat, stirring occasionally, just until mixture comes to a boil. Let stand a few seconds for spices to settle to bottom of saucepan. Serve hot in mugs with a dollop of whipped cream. Sprinkle with additional cinnamon if desired.
