1. Prepare pie crust for one-crust filled pie using 9-inch pie pan.
2. Heat oven to 400°F. In large bowl, beat eggs. Add sugar, salt, nutmeg and vanilla mix well. Gradually blend in hot milk. Pour into crust-lined pan.
3. Bake at 400°F. for 25 to 30 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean. Cool 30 minutes. Serve slightly warm or cold. Store in refrigerator.
