Here's a low-calorie, low-fat gravy for your whole family.
1. Add liquid to the drippings to make a total of ¾ cup.
2. Mix the flour with ¼ cup cold liquid.
3. Stir flour mixture into drippings mixture.
4. Heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
5. Season to taste with salt and pepper
Food exchanges per ¼-cup serving FREE
*To remove fat from drippings, pour drippings into a container. Chill in refrigerator (may be chilled quickly by putting in the freezer or adding an ice cube to the drippings). Remove solid fat that forms at the top. Store extra drippings in refrigerator or freezer for later use.
