This is a tasty way to prepare this healthy green. If your child won't eat it, eat it yourself and make a fuss about how good it is. Both Swiss chard and kale are rich in calcium and vitamins A and C.
1. Heat the oil in a large skillet (preferably nonstick) and add the garlic, onion, and celery. Sauté, stirring, for about 3 minutes.
2. Add the water and the Swiss chard. Season the mixture with pepper, stirring the ingredients to combine them well. Cover the pan and simmer the mixture, stirring it occasionally, over low heat for about 5 minutes or until the chard is wilted and tender. Sprinkle vinegar over the mixture.
