1. In medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt mix well. Add milk, oil and egg stir just until dry ingredients are moistened.
2. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto boiling soup or stew mixture. Reduce heat cover tightly and cook 13 to 16 minutes or until dumplings are fluffy and no longer doughy on bottom.
