Using a sharp knife, cut off the top and bottom of the pineapple.
Cut away the shell of the pineapple, one strip at a time.
Remove the eyes by cutting narrow wedge-shaped grooves diagonally around the fruit, following the pattern of the eyes.
Cut pie-shaped wedges the length of the fruit.
To make smaller pieces, cut the wedges crosswise.
