2 large Bermuda onions
2/3 cup milk
1/2 cup all purpose enriched flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
Oil for deep frying
Salt
Cut cleaned onions into 1/4-inch slices. Separate into rings. Soak onion rings in milk and then dip in flour seasoned with 1/2 teaspoon salt.
Fry a few at a time in deep Crisco Oil heated to 375°F Cook until lightly browned, 2 to 3 minutes.
Drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with salt.
