1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup finely minced celery
1/4 cup finely minced seeded cucumbers
1 tablespoon minced parsley
1 tablespoon mince green onions
2 tablespoons minced dill pickles
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2-3 drops tabasco sauce
Salt
White pepper
Mix together all ingredients in a bowl. Cover and chill in refrigerator for at least an hour before serving. Keep refrigerated after using.
Note: When making homemade tartar sauce, you want to keep it from being too liquid. After mincing the cucumber, press it with a paper towel to remove excess water. Pat the chopped pickle with towel, too. Makes about 1 3/4 cups.
