1. In large mixing bowl, combine egg, cereal, onion, milk and seasonings. Mix well. Add turkey, mixing until combined (meat mixture will be soft). Portion meat mixture using level measuring-tablespoon. Shape into meatballs. Place in single layer on greased or foil-lined shallow baking pan.
2. Bake in 400°F oven about 15 minutes or until well browned.
3. To prepare sauce, add remaining ingredients into large saucepan, stirring until well combined. Cover and cook over low heat about 15 minutes, stirring constantly. Add meatballs to sauce. Cook uncovered over low heat about 10 minutes longer. Serve over rice or noodles, if desired.
MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS:
Prepare meatballs and sauce according to above directions. Place half of the meatballs in 11 3/4 x 7 1/2 x 1 3/4-inch microwavable baking dish. Microwave at HIGH (100% power) 5 minutes, turning meatballs after 2 1/2 minutes. Drain. Repeat with remaining meatballs. To prepare sauce, combine all ingredients in 2-quart round casserole dish. Microwave 5 minutes and stir. Add meatballs. Microwave 7 minutes or until meatballs are thoroughly heated.
