"A" Choices = Excellent, nutritional fat-loss choices when combined with other good foods. The balance of water, veggie, grain, protein, and fruit is essential!
"B" Choices = Good coasting or maintenance choices. Some people see optimal fat loss with a few "B" Choices added into their "A" days. Others have much more resistant bodies and see more success with ALL "A" Choices. Main course items are judged more strictly than dessert items because their nutritional value should be the highest. In other words, a "B" Choice main course is nutritionally superior to a "B" Choice dessert. Listen to your body and adjust to your needs.
Ratings are based on fat, sugar, sodium, and fiber content, and the overall nutrient value of the food. Some foods with a fat percentage over 20 percent still recieve an "A" rating because of the excellent nutrition they provide. These foods are placed into menus with overall fat percentages ranging between 10 and 20 percent--the ideal range for optimum health and excess fat loss.
If you are diabetic, hypoglycemic, or highly resistant to excess fat loss, choose "A" and "B" Choice main courses with an emphasis on the "A" Choices and choose ONLY "A" Choice desserts.
