Mix cereal, oats, flour, cinnamon, almonds, raisins, coconut, and chocolate chips or dried fruit together until well blended.
In a 2-cup measure, mix together honey, Mapleine, and almond flavoring, salt, and vanilla.
Add enough water to bring liquid mixture to the 1 3/4 to 2 cups mark (about 1/2 to 3/4 cup). Mix well and pour over dry ingredients until covered well. Put 1/2 of granola on a large, bakery-size cookie sheet and 1/2 on another. Place wax paper on top of each sheet of mixture to prevent rolling pin from sticking to the mixture. Roll out mixture on cookie sheets until each is completely covered. Remove wax paper. Cut each sheet of granola into 40 bars. Bake at 400 degrees 7 to 10 minutes.
