Serves: 16
Brown roast in frying pan. Sprinkle salt, pepper, and garlic salt on all sides. Turn heat down to low. Add 2 to 3 cups water. Let cook slowly for 3 to 6 hours until fork goes in easily.
Fresh vegetables can be added the last 45 minutes of cooking. this roast can be cooked on weekends, then used all week long in soups, stews, casseroles, and sandwiches stuffed full of veggies.
*Beef is high in vitamin B12 and other essential nutrients that are not easily found in many foods. Beef also has a substantial amount of saturated fat and cholesterol, so be very moderate with its use.
