Prepare 2 pie crusts as directed. Place one crust in bottom of pie pan, reserve other as top crust.
Mix sugar and cornstarch in medium saucepan. Add water. Bring to a boil, stirring until smooth and thickened. Stir in berries and bring to a boil, stirring until thickened. Pour into bottom pie crust. Slit center of top crust and place on top of berries overlapping rim of plate 1 inch. Fold under and crimp edges. Brush top with cream or milk and sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 425°F on lower rack of oven for 30 to 40 minutes, until crust is golden brown.
