Melt butter in large sauce pan over medium heat. Add sugar and vanilla. Mix well. Stir in oats. Cook on low heat 2-3 minutes or until ingredients are well blended. Press half mixture into greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Put chocolate chips in small saucepan and stir until melted, Do not over heat. Stir in peanut butter. Pour over oat mixture. Crumble remaining oat mixture over bars and press lightly. Cover and refrigerate 2 or 3 hours.
