In a mixing bowl, beal together butter and brown sugar umillight and creamy. Combine flour and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Press into greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Combine butterscotch chips, corn syrup, butter and water in a saucepan. Cook and stir over medium heat until chips and butter are melted. Spread over crust. Sprinkle with cashews. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until topping is bubbly and lightly browned. Cool. Makes 2 dozen.
