Measure all cake ingredients into large mixing bowl. Beat for 2 minutes. Set aside.
Melt butter in 9 inch round pan. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over butter. Place pineapple over brown sugar. Sprinkle with nuts.
Pour cake batter over fruit. Bake 35 to 45 minutes at 350°F. Let sit for 5 minutes. Run a knife around edge of pan to loosen cake. Invert onto platter. Serve warm.
