1. Preheat waffle iron.
2. Whisk together flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, brown sugar, oil, and egg yolks. Add to flour mixture and stir until well blended.
4. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into chocolate mixture.
5. Stir in chocolate chips.
6. Coat waffle iron with cooking spray. Pour about 3/4 cup batter onto grill and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
7. Serve with syrup and top with bananas and strawberries.
