1. Mix bacon and cheese together in small bowl.
2. Cut bread into 11/2-inch thick slices. Cut each slice in half. Cut a deep slit on each bread section, forming a pocket. Fill each pocket with 1/4 cup bacon/cheese mixture.
3. Whisk together eggs and milk and pour into a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Place bread in egg mixture and let soak until saturated.
4. Cook on hot griddle that has been sprayed with cooking spray until golden brown on each side.
5. Dust with powdered sugar.
