1. The night before making these pancakes, mix starter batter with flour, milk and salt in bowl. Cover with cloth and let sit about 12 hours in warm place.
2. In the morning, remove 1 cup batter to replenish starter in crock pot.
3. Whisk eggs, oil, sugar and baking soda together and add to remaining batter. Mix well.
4. Ladle 1/4 cup batter onto hot, greased griddle. Cook until bubbles form around the edges, then flip and cook on other side until golden brown.
5. Serve with maple syrup or raspberry sauce.
