1. Halve eggs and layer in 2-quart baking dish.
2. Make white sauce by melting butter in saucepan. Stir in flour and gradually whisk in milk. Salt and pepper.
3. Bake for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese and bake for another 5 to 10 minutes until cheese is melted.
4. Serve over toast.
