1. Stir together flour, soda and spices. Set aside.
2. In large mixing bowl, beat together shortening and sugar until combined. Add eggs. Beat well. Stir in applesauce. Add KELLOGG'S ALL-BRAN cereal and flour mixture, mixing until combined.. Stir in raisins and chopped walnuts. Spread in 8 1/4-inch ring mold, tube pan or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan coated with cooking spray. Decorate with walnuts halves.
3. Bake at 350°F about 1 hour or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Let cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove from pan and cool completely on wire rack.
